Jon's Gifts: An Explanation

To appreciate these pictures, you have to first assume the following has occurred:

It's a Sunday afternoon, 90 degree outside,  and Jon, Diane, Brian, and Kevin have been on the water all days long.  The kids are starting to get hungry and tired.  While they have had a wonderful time on the water, Jon decides to get up go.  It is at this time when the Mercury 470, and all of its limitations, begin to show. I hope this will help you understand  what we  got Jon:

Lip balm & suntan oil - we recommend he takes this right away - after all, it could be along day

Band Aids - Dual Functions

(1) To cover up the cuts that Jon certainly will get when he tries to make in water repairs

(2) To tape over Dianne's mouth in case his ear

Dramine - in case he can't get in before the seas get heavy

Fair Kits - In Case Jon needs to signal for help

Ear Plugs - so he does not have to listen to Diane complain about the engine
