New Year's Day Party - Giving My Family A Headache

As long as I can remember, we have all got together as a family for New Year's Day.  Since I am a big college football fan, this is probably the best day of the year. I yell, scream, and jump up and down all day (from about 10:00 AM when the first bowl game stars to around 10:30 PM when the last game ends.)

In any case, most of the time, midway through the day, most of my family has a head ache due to my yelling.  Nevertheless, they stay (probably because we serve good food) or find other distractions (as noted below.)  I also cheer for both sides unless it is Illinois, Norte Dame or Oklahoma when I always root for these specific teams.  That way I can yell all day long.

Here are a few pictures from our  New Year's Day Party.

Sue (eating, of course), Matt (talking) and Jon.

Ironically, Jon is wearing a Bradley sweat shirt when they don't even have a football team.

As I mentioned, there were many distractions during the New Year's Day party.  While the men were watching the games, the women  compared various shades of nail polish and discussed shopping strategies for the new year.
